Author Guidelines
First thing first
The editors and SAN Scientific Publishing are dedicated to ethical publication practices. We follow the principles set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and campaign for developing and implementing consistent ethical standards across the scholarly publishing community. Don't hesitate to contact us for additional information on our ethics policies.
Please contact the Journal Editorial Office if you have any questions about the status of your paper before making a decision. Don't hesitate to contact the Managing Editor if you have any questions after acceptance. These facts are available in the Editorial Team section.
Author Responsibilities
Our goal is to provide you with a professional and courteous experience at each stage of the review and publication process. Some responsibilities sit with you as the author. We expect that you will:
- Respond quickly to any questions that arise during the publication process.
- Take responsibility for all parts of your work. This responsibility involves examining and addressing any accuracy concerns.
- Keep discussions between you and the journal editor private until an editorial decision is reached.
- Learn about our authorship research ethics. These need you to:
- Include everyone who has made a meaningful contribution to the submission (anyone else involved in the paper should be listed in the acknowledgments).
- Exclude anyone who did not contribute to the publication or preferred not to be included in the research. Respond swiftly to any queries during the publication process.
- Be accountable for all aspects of your work. This includes investigating and resolving any questions about accuracy.
- Treat communications between you and the journal editor as confidential until an editorial decision has been made.
- Please read about our research ethics for authorship. These state that you must:
- Include anyone who has made a substantial and meaningful contribution to the submission.
- Exclude anyone who has yet to contribute to the paper. The author has chosen not to be associated with the research.
- If your publication contains human participants, you must evaluate if you need ethical permission for your research and include this information in your submission.
Research and publishing ethics
Our editors and staff work diligently to guarantee that our published information is ethical. We strictly follow the standards and flowcharts on the COPE website to assist us in reaching that aim.
We have also prepared research and publication ethical guidelines. If you have yet to read them, we strongly advise you to do so because they will help you avoid the most prevalent publishing ethical difficulties.
A few crucial points:
- Any material submitted to this publication must be original. That is, it should have been published in a different form previously. You must notify the journal editor upon submission if any considerable portion of your article has previously been published.
- Please be aware that the journal editor may apply Turnitin to assess the originality and similarities of submitted work.
- Your work should not have been published elsewhere and should not be under consideration by any other publication.
- By submitting your work to SAN Scientific, you ensure that it does not infringe any existing copyright.
If you have a conflict of interest, you must declare it at submission so the editor can decide how to proceed.
Third-party copyright permissions
Before submitting your work, make sure you've applied for and got formal permission to use any third-party content in your work. Please be aware that we cannot post any articles currently awaiting authorization.
We need the following rights:
- Non-exclusive rights to reproduce the information in the article or book chapter.
- Print and digital rights.

Your article will be published with a Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0 user license, outlining how readers can use your work.
Manuscript Template
The following author instructions in the template for an article should be followed when preparing the manuscript: Format DOC download.
Reviewing of manuscripts
At least two peer reviewers independently evaluate each submitted paper. Their reports and recommenda-tions provide the basis for publication, amendment, or rejection decisions.

The editor should receive any manuscripts returned to the authors for editing as soon as possible. Through the Online Submission Interface (https://sanscientific.com/journal/index.php/ecd), you can upload or email revised papers to the editorial office. More than three months later, manuscripts updated and returned will be classified as "new submissions."
