Research of Islamic Economics
The Research of Islamic Economics (RIE) is a double-blind, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by SAN Scientific, Indonesia. This journal is published semi-annually online (May and November) to keep readers updated with the latest progress. RIE is dedicated to publishing academic work in all aspects relevant to developing the theory and practice of Islamic banking, Islamic financial institutions, Islamic capital markets, Islamic wealth management, Shari’ah implementation and practices of Islamic economics and Islamic philanthropy: zakat, waqf, takaful, and alms. This journal encourage comparative study and analysis of Islamic and conventional financial institutions both the public and private sectors.
The RIE publishes high-quality, original research papers that cover a wide range of topics in sharia’h economics and business, offer new scientific perspectives and add new contributions to the Islamic economics and finance literature and policy practice. The journal emphasizes empirical, practical, and policy-oriented research also other national and international Islamic financial institutions and markets. The journal aims to increase communication and collaboration between academic and other research communities, policymakers and operational decision-makers at national and international financial institutions (private and public), and their regulators.
